Visual Works is a Japan-based CGI animation studio dedicated towards creating video game cut scenes and full-length feature films for Square Enix. In 2005, Visual Works produced their first stand-alone project, the feature-length CGI film Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. They produced a second stand-alone film, Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV, in 2016. A special limited time café was held at SQUARE ENIX CAFÉ from January 23 to February 19, 2017. A virtual reality experience called "VR Express" was held at the cafe, showcasing Visual Works' artwork of the Final Fantasy world in a Christmas themed VR train.

Christmas Special Burger [¥2,000] – A Square Enix original limited time hamburger made with foie gras, truffle sauce, and Joshu beef pate. It goes well with mashed potatoes. Served with a side of grilled Mitsuse chicken and balsamic sauce.

FINAL FANTASY VI OPENING Snow Mountains Mousse [¥780] – A mousse made with candy, white chocolate, powdered sugar, and crystal-like cream, inspired by the snowy mountains of Narshe that appears in Final Fantasy VI.

Vivi's Black Mage Pancakes [¥780] – A pancake plate inspired by the black mage Vivi. A magical sauce made with mont blanc resembles his signature hat.

Lightning (World of Final Fantasy) [¥700] – A light pink drink that makes it easier to drink with the sweetness of rose. A rose petal floats on the surface.

Sephiroth (World of Final Fantasy) [¥700] – A dry sparkling drink wrapped in a black bouquet. It is topped with silver candy in the likeness of Sephiroth's 'Masamune'.

Miyama Tsubame 'Alphard' (Schoolgirl Strikers) [¥700] – A ladies' drink that is easy to drink by adding cassis to dry sparkling wine. It is finished with gold glitter that expresses the phoenix tail of the original new costume "Alphard" produced by Visual Works.

In addition to the food inspired by the artworks of Visual Arts, original luncheon mats (1 of 4 designs) were gifted at random for food orders and World of Final Fantasy themed coasters (1 of 12 designs) were gifted at random for drink orders.
