A SeeD cadet training to be a mercenary at Balamb Garden. He was a lone wolf, who shunned away others, until his encounter with Rinoa helped him gradually open up and ultimately embark on a journey to defeat the evil sorceress.
A SeeD cadet at Balamb Garden who fights alongside his classmate Squall to stop the sorceress. While his antsy and impulsive nature earned him a reputation as the school troublemaker, he is also an avid learner which has proven to be more than helpful from time to time.
A SeeD cadet training to be a mercenary at Balamb Garden. Evenly matched and using the same weapon, he is widely considered to be Squall's rival. Though his belligerent attitude garners the most attention, he is responsible for leading the disciplinary committee and boasts good grades. He seems to have some 'romantic' dream involving sorceresses.
A guileless transfer student to Balamb Garden. Her unflinchingly upbeat attitude is an inspiration to everyone around her, and her constant energy is enough to wear out even Zell. No matter how painful or difficult things get, she always keeps up a happy face for her friends.
A member of the Forest Owls fighting for Timber's independence. She becomes involved in the battle with the sorceress after hiring SeeD to help abduct the president of the state occupying Timber. Daring and amiable, she is a woman of action able to make friends with anyone.
A SeeD operative and instructor at Balamb Garden. She holds the record as the youngest to pass the SeeD exam and is looked up to by many a student. Dismissed from her faculty position due to a certain incident, she puts her vast SeeD experience to use accompanying Squall in their mission to assassinate the sorceress.
A sharpshooter trained at Galbadia Garden. His flippant attitude is an act to distract from the pressure of his missions. In reality quite sensitive, his nerves tend to get the better of him when it's most important despite his superior marksmanship.
A former Galbadian soldier who fought alongside his friends Laguna and Ward. He often helps Laguna make decisions. He later quits the Galbadian army with Laguna and Ward.
A former Galbadian soldier who fought alongside his friends Laguna and Kiros. He uses a large spear-like weapon called a harpoon, which he throws at his enemies.
An aspiring journalist and former Galbadian soldier who is traveling the world in search of a girl who was kidnapped by a sorceress. He may not think things through all the time, but there's something about his easy-going, genuine demeanor that draws people to him.

To celebrate your slaying of the fell primal, the Weavers' Guild crafted scores of these lifelike replicas which were, much to the chagrin of Ul'dah's youth, immediately snatched up by wealthy collectors and locked away for no one to see.
Tataru Taru is a Lalafell in Final Fantasy XIV. She is the receptionist of the Waking Sands, the headquarters of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn. Said to be a keen judge of character, she decides who can enter the Scions' base.

Aymeric is a man of Ishgard, and Lord Commander of the Temple Knights. Though not of noble birth, he rose in rank by virtue of his countless accomplishments and achieved his current station. As the war against dragonkind rages on, Aymeric risks life and limb to protect his people.
Also known by the moniker, Haurchefant of the Silver Fuller, he is an elezen knight of the noble House Fortemps and commander presiding over Camp Dragonhead. Haurchefant actively welcomes mercenaries and adventurers into the camp, and he seeks to shepherd his homeland of Ishgard through the trying times it faces.
The eyes of a newborn paissa are said to see only the truth. The truth and food. In addition to being quite tasty, paissas are often bred by Vanu tribes for fighting. One such creature was given as a gift to the Rose Knights when the Ishgardians were still on good terms with the Sea of Clouds natives...and then subsequently lost in a card game.
The queen of storms, Garuda is the chosen primal of the Ixal. Though elegant of form and graceful in motion, the capricious and ruthless nature of this bloodthirsty being engenders mindless terror even amongst her devoted worshippers. Her wrath often erupts without warning, and descends upon her victims with unbridled fury.

Also known as a nutkin, this adorable yet sharp-toothed rodent will stop short of nothing to find a nut.
Being one of the few known survivors of the disappearance of the Isle of Val, she helps the surviving Scions of the Seventh Dawn locate the members that have, up until this point, remained missing.
The indomitable will of the earth made manifest, beloved of the kobold clans. Compassionate and gentle, Titan is as a father to his tunnel-dwelling worshippers.
