Katana Maidens ~ Toji No Miko is a 2017 Japanese media franchise produced by Genko, comprising of manga, anime, mobile game, and novel. A mobile game titled "Katana Maidens ~ Toji No Miko: Kizamishi Issen no Tomoshibi" was released on March 19, 2018 by Square Enix. To commemorate the release of the mobile game, a special limited time café was held at SQUARE ENIX CAFÉ from April 28 to May 18, 2018. This coincided with the anime's run, which aired between January 5, 2018 and June 22, 2018. Clips from the anime, including the Opening and Ending credits, were shown on screens, including a clip showing a comparison between the finished Opening and the in-development Opening. Rough sketches and concept art by Yoshinori Shizuma, character designer of the series, was also featured.
