Final Fantasy XVI announced for PS5 as its Awakening trailer takes flight

"The legacy for the crystal has shaped our history long enough." After months of speculation after the PS5's announcement, Square Enix has dropped the announcement trailer for the next mainline Final Fantasy title. Final Fantasy XVI is going back to its medieval fantasy roots, reminiscence of Witcher/Game of Thrones. The next big information reveal is set for 2021.
