Red XIII is the name he received as a specimen designation while held captive and experimented upon by Professor Hojo. He fights alongside Cloud and his allies to fulfill his duty to the planet to defend it as a warrior.

A prominent member of the Turks, who makes up Shinra's Investigation Sector of the General Affairs Department. Despite his laid back personality, he is a humble worker with a high level of professionalism. He has completed many missions with his partner, Rude.

An embodiment of Sephiroth's will manifested from the lifestream, his goal is to find Jenova, whom he considers his mother, and bring about a second Jenova Reunion, alongside Loz and Yazoo.
