She was sealed away by the mothercrystal, but centuries later awoke and so had to be sealed again by Ramza Beoulve and his comrades, who gave up their lives in exchange. It is theorized by the cast that the Ultima spell was based on her abilities.

An ancient superweapon from the Allagan Empire, buried by milennia at the Carteneau Flats. Once the replicas, Omega-M and Omega-F, are defeated in the Savage version of the fight, Omega concludes that the humanoid form being best-suited for what he seeks was incorrect, and takes the weapon form.
