Volume 1

 

Initial release date: April 2005

 

  • Sora (original Kingdom Hearts outfit) holding the Kingdom Key on top of the Traverse Town Gizmo Shop clock. Represents the white king.

  • Donald Duck holding the Mage's Staff sitting atop a Traverse Town roof. Represents a white bishop.

  • Jack Skellington with Zero, surrounded by ghosts at Halloween Town's Guillotine Gate. Represents a white rook.

  • Maleficent, holding her wand and encircled by thorns and her dragon form. Represents the black queen.

  • Hades, sitting on his throne with Cerberus behind him. Represents a black knight.

  • Heartless Horde, including a Shadow trio, a Wyvern, a Darkball, the Gauntlet of the Guard Armor, and a Red Nocturne-like Heartless, colored black. Represents a black pawn.

A rare monotone version, colored to resemble a pewter-like metal was also released. Each figure features a black and white symbol to denote which chess piece they represent.

Volume 2

 

Initial release date: April 2006

 

  • Cloud Strife (Olympus Coliseum outfit), wielding the bandaged Buster Sword on top of damaged pieces of Olympus Coliseum. Represents a white knight.

  • Kairi on the dock at Destiny Islands, surrounded by palm trees and with a Paopu Fruit in her lap. Represents the white queen.

  • Goofy with the Knight's Shield atop a spire in Traverse Town, complete with Tinker Bell windvane. Represents a white knight.

  • Oogie Boogie, surrounded by the dangerous toys and tricks from his lair in Halloween Town. Represents a black rook.

  • Ansem, Seeker of Darkness and his Guardian, cupped in Darkside's hands. Represents the black king.

  • Jafar, atop a pile of treasure from the Cave of Wonders and Genie, holding Genie's lamp and Iago. Represents a black knight.

Volume 3

 

Initial release date: August 2008

 

  • Sora (Kingdom Hearts II outfit) in The World That Never Was. Represents a white king.

  • Queen Minnie with Chip and Dale at Disney Castle. Represents a white queen.

  • Captain Jack Sparrow holding a pirate sword atop treasure from the Isla de Muerta. Represents a white rook.

  • Axel with his Eternal Flames chakrams on top of Castle Oblivion. Represents a black knight.

  • Pete with various cartoon-style implements of destruction. Represents a black pawn.

  • Ursula with Flotsam and Jetsam, holding King Triton's Trident. Represents a black bishop.

Based off Kingdom Hearts but is included in the first series. No monotone versions were released. Each figure features a black and white symbol to denote which chess piece they represent.

Initial release date: Fall 2010

 

  • Roxas (simulated Twilight Town outfit) sitting atop the Twilight Town clocktower eating sea-salt ice cream.

  • Naminé sitting on a chair in the middle of a Memory Pod with a small staircase wrapping around it with Sora, Donald, and Goofy running up the stairs reminiscing the scene in the opening of Kingdom Hearts II. Japan exclusive.

  • Riku with his Way to the Dawn Keyblade while riding upon the Sidecar Glider that he and Sora used in the battle against Xemnas in his Dragon form.

  • Sora (Final Form) with the Oathkeeper and Oblivion Keyblades in the Audience Chamber in Disney Castle.

  • King Mickey Mouse (Kingdom Hearts II outfit) fighting a Shadow Heartless with his Kingdom Key D in Radiant Garden.

Volume 2

 

Initial release date: Winter 2012

 

  • Sora (Master Form) with the Oathkeeper and Oblivion Keyblades in front of Radiant Garden, stars swirling around him and yellow energy spiking at his feet.

  • Roxas (Organization XIII outfit) with the Oathkeeper and Oblivion Keyblades in front of the Castle That Never Was, purple energy criss-crossing around him and darkness swirling at his feet.

  • Axel bursting out of flames with Eternal Flames chakrams in hand. A flame-colored nobody symbol sticks out from the top of the flames while two Dusks dance alongside it.

  • Twilight Thorn in a dynamic pose on the Dive to the Heart platform with white energy shooting around it.

  • Sora, Donald and Goofy in their Pride Lands forms with Pride Lands scenery surrounding them. Sora is swinging the Kingdom Key with stars circling around his feet.

Volume 3

 

Initial release date: June 2013

  • Sora, Donald and Goofy in Timeless River. Sora is on top of the cannon tower in Lilliput, holding the Monochrome Keyblade.

  • Sora with Ariel and Sebastian in Atlantica. They are in a musical; Sora is posing and holding a few bubbles, while Ariel is clapping and Sebastian is conducting.

  • Sora in Space Paranoids. He is on his Light Cycle in the Game Grid. The Master Control Program (MCP) is also visible.

  • Sora, Donald and Goofy in Halloween Town. Oogie's Manor and ghosts are seen in the background.

Alba & Ater Set

 

Initial release date: July 2022

An elaborate three-dimensional replica of the chess-like game in which Eraqus and Xehanort go head-to-head with one another during the story of Kingdom Hearts III. The bottom of each piece is die-cast, while the board is intricately and exquisitely detailed. Each piece features a motif representing a different KINGDOM HEARTS character, finished in either gold or silver, making it an elegant piece of interior décor.
