Final Fantasy XIV Online was an online MMORPG game released on August 13, 2013 by Square Enix. In May, 2019, the number of registered accounts exceeded 16 million players (including trial accounts). The third expansion pack, Shadowbringers, was released on July 2, 2019. To commemorate this, a special limited time café was held at SQUARE ENIX CAFÉ Tokyo from July 20 to September 26, 2019. Due to the Osaka branch’s temporary closure during this time, the event was instead held at Eorzea Café Osaka.

Leviathan’s Tidal Wave Somen [¥1,080] – This seafood dish made with somen (chilled noodles) is prepared in blue water in the likeness of the primal Leviathan summoning a tidal wave from the ocean.

Dwarf Chocolate Mousse [¥930] – The likeness of a dwarf with a white beard and helmet is recreated using chocolate mousse, wafer cone, and whipped cream. The mango and chocolate are a perfect combination!

Shiva’s Diamond Dust [¥830] – A freezing dessert appropriate for the ice primal Shiva. The striking shaved ice is a beautiful contract to the crushed violet and blue jelly. Witness the brilliance of the power of ice!

Dancer’s Spanish-Style Garlic Shrimp with Bitter Gourd [¥930] – Ahijo (Spanish-style) shrimp served in a bright red bowl reminiscent of a dancer’s costume. It goes well with the bitter gourd created in the likeness of the dancer’s throwing weapons. Let the dried bonito dance and enjoy it with petit bread!

Basket of Steamed Buns [¥1,980] – A faithful recreation of the Basket of Steamed Buns as it appears in the game. Share it with friends or flatten it yourself!

Hrothgar’s Rice Plate ~With The Lost Stew & Helions Curry~ [¥1,280] – Enjoy colourful saffron rice with two different types of roux that is inspired by the warm-colored Helion and the winter-furred Lost. Which roux do you prefer?

Crystarium Assorted Sweets [¥980] – A platter of sweets created with the motif of the ‘Crystarium’, bustling city that developed around the Crystal Tower in the years following its sudden appearance in Lakeland. Panna cotta is decorated with a crystal tower made of candy and frozen yoghurt is served in a glass dome. The blueberry mousse represents the lilac trees that bloom in Lakeland.

Dark Knight’s Squid Ink Pasta [¥1,080] – Jet-black pasta with fettuccine entwined with quid ink and accented with blood-red tomatoes. Pick up a sword, consume it, and defeat the light! This dish is only available at Eorzea Café Osaka.

Carbuncle’s Emerald Dolce [¥830] – A jelly dolce dessert inspired by the cute Carbuncle’s Emerald attire. The refreshing taste of mint and ramune is a winning combination!

Thancred’s Black Milk Tea [¥730] – A low-sweetness milk tea with two layers of milk in black tea syrup. The sprinkled silver foil represents Thancred’s silver hair.

Viera’s Grape Soda [¥790] – A slightly refreshing mild cocktail of grape juice and soda, served in a slender wine cup adorned with the Viera’s signature look.

Fat Cat’s Hot Café au Lait [¥730] – A cute hot drink decorated with a marshmallow in the likeness of the popular Minion, Fat Cat.

Dark Knight’s Black Coke [¥790] – Lime juice is added to a rum-based cocktail to create a jet-black drink. This drink is alcoholic.

Moogle’s Peach Lassie [¥790] – A sweet, easy-to-drink lassie created in the likeness of a cute moogle.

Chocobo’s Mango Soda [¥790] – A refreshing drink made by mixing mango juice with soda. The color of the drink resembles that of a cute chocobo.

In addition to the food inspired by Final Fantasy XIV, original luncheon mats (1 of 8 designs) were gifted at random for food orders and coasters (1 of 18 designs) were gifted at random for drink orders. Visitors who spend ¥2,000 or more on merchandise were gifted a limited edition post card.
